Our Compliance Program
Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego (including its affiliates and subsidiaries) is committed to full compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to Rady Children's. This includes State and Federal False Claims acts, the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statutes, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Fraud Enforcement Recovery Act and the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines, as amended, effective November 1, 2010 (standards for an “effective compliance and ethics program”).
Rady Children's has established and built upon its compliance program as evidence of our commitment to providing world-class care to children and operating its facilities with the highest degree of integrity. The Rady Children's compliance program includes a Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, training and education, auditing and monitoring, interaction between compliance and quality, and mechanisms for individuals to raise issues and concerns without fear of retaliation.
The Chief Compliance Officer also has direct and express authority to promptly communicate personally to the President and the Board on any matter involving potential criminal conduct and at least annually on the effectiveness of the compliance program.
