Benefits
To attract and retain highly qualified employees, Rady Children's offers employees a comprehensive package of benefits. Your coverage is effective on the 31st day of active employment in a benefits-eligible position. You must enroll for benefits within 30 days of the date you become eligible for benefits.
As a benefits-eligible employee, you are provided with a comprehensive benefits package to aid you and your family. Within the first few weeks of hire, the Human Resources Benefits Department will send you an invitation via U.S. mail to attend a benefits orientation. At the orientation, we will provide you with your personalized enrollment forms, along with detailed information. We will also discuss retirement programs, EAP services, tuition assistance, accrued leave and additional benefits available as a Rady Children’s employee.
The following information provides you with a general overview of the benefits we offer.
