Bio
Dr. Begem Lee is a pediatric hospitalist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an assocaite clinical professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She graduated from Dartmouth Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at Rady Children's Hospital and UC San Diego. She served as a pediatric chief resident and then continued her training through a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at Rady Children's Hospital.
She is interested in medical education and teaches medical students and pediatric residents from UC San Diego in addition to residents from various programs. She has won several awards for her dedication to teaching. She is involved with clinical research, and her interests include high-value care and quality improvement.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Society of Hospital Medicine.
