Dr. Delaram Molkara is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego.

She earned her medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Iran, completed her residency in pediatrics in Wisconsin, and went on to complete fellowship training at UC San Diego.

Along with caring for cardiology patients, Dr. Molkara has helped to develop Rady Children's fetal echo program and provides consultations for the fetal echo program at UC San Diego. At Rady Children's, she has also established a preventive cardiology clinic (with special focus on obesity, dyslipidemia and metabolic syndrome) and is working to develop a multidisciplinary preventive cardiology clinic in conjunction with the Nutrition Service and Physical Therapy.

Dr. Molkara teaches medical students, residents and cardiology fellows in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She also provides didactic and continuing medical education lectures to the community pediatricians.
