Dr. Faith Kung is a physician in the Hematology/Oncology Division at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and a professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego.

After graduating from the University of Virginia Medical School, Dr. Kung continued her medical education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in the Pediatrics Department before completing a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology.

Dr. Kung's research interests include cancer chemotherapy, clinical hematology/oncology, hemophilia, psychological aspects of childhood cancer and sickle cell anemia.

On July 31, 2015, Dr. Kung was named a "Top Cancer Doctor 2015" by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., in collaboration with Newsweek, placing her among the top one percent in the nation in her specialty.
