Count on Rady Children’s for quality pediatric urgent care.
Rady Children’s is committed to providing you and your family access to our team of pediatric-trained and licensed physicians, nurses and technicians.
We realize that many urgent healthcare needs can occur after hours, when your child’s primary care provider may not be available. That’s why Rady Children’s offers pediatric urgent care services in your neighborhood.
When to go to Urgent Care.
Urgent Care provides treatment of injuries and illnesses that are not life- or limb-threatening, but need immediate attention, including:
- Sprains, strains or contusions (deep bruises)
- Minor lacerations
- Mild to moderate asthma attacks
- Ear infections
- Upper respiratory infections
- Coughs and congestion
- Vomiting and diarrhea
- Sore throats
- Insect bites and rashes
When NOT to go to Urgent Care.
Urgent Care is NOT a replacement for your child’s primary care provider. We do not provide adult care, well-child care, emergency care or major trauma care or treat complex orthopedic injuries. To ensure that Urgent Care is the right place for the treatment of your child’s medical needs, please contact your primary medical care provider.
