Welcome back to Rady Children’s. We hope your experience in the Sam S. and Rose Stein Emergency Care Center will be educational and enjoyable.

 

This web page provides you with the information you need to start your rotation in the Emergency Care Center. Please review all of the information carefully, as some things may have changed. The forms must be updated every year. Please fill them out and return them to Shaela Parrott to be sure that you are not deactivated from the system.

 

Also please note that if you have not been trained for EPIC, you will need to do so before the start of your rotation. A login and password will be sent to you before your first shift to complete the EPIC training modules online before you start your rotation.

 

Residents are invited to attend the radiology conference given on the first Wednesday of each month in Rady Children's Medical Office Building (MOB), Conference Room 407, Room #2, from 12 to 1 p.m., and the ED Attending Lecture is given on the second Wednesday of each month from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Cafeteria Dining Rooms A & B. The conference schedule is posted on the ED bulletin board. Please check it for any changes.
