Graduate Medical Education (GME)
Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, in partnership with the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, is the region's teaching hospital for the next generation of pediatric physicians.
We are the training site for more than 300 pediatric family practice and specialty residents each year from four major teaching hospitals in San Diego: UC San Diego; Scripps Health (Chula Vista/Green/Mercy); Balboa Naval Medical Center; and Camp Pendleton Naval Medical Center. We also train more than 200 medical students and 100 fellows each year.
All trainees who spend time at the Rady Children's campus for training must register with the GME Office. Registration information is outlined on the Registration Forms page.
