The Division has active basic science (laboratory) and clinical research programs. Among our current clinical trials, we are evaluating enzyme therapy for Gaucher, Hurler, Fabry and Pompe disease, molecular chaperones for phenylketonuria, and targeted peptides and cofactors in mitochondrial disease.
