Mary Louise Schreiber, Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Coordinator
Mary Louise began her nursing career in 1977 as a staff nurse. Since this time, she has served in various roles in advanced practice nursing, including providing primary care in private practice with local pediatricians, providing physicals to underserved children of adolescent mothers, and for 16 ½ years, providing primary care for mostly Spanish-speaking children at Neighborhood Healthcare in Escondido, Calif.
She also taught at San Diego State University in the School of Nursing.
Mary Louise received her undergraduate degree from Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Mich., and a master’s degree in parent-child nursing from the University of Michigan. She is licensed as a pediatric nurse practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing, is a fellow of the National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Practitioners, and holds a certificate of clinical competence through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Pamela Vik, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Pam has been a neonatal nurse practitioner since 1992 and has a specialist interest in the developmental outcome of patients who “graduate” from the neonatal intensive care unit. Since 1997, she has worked at Rady Children’s as part of the N.N.P. team that provides coverage for the majority of NICUs in San Diego County. In 2011, she began providing additional support to the High-Risk Infant Follow-up Clinic.
Pam received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and her master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati, in the maternal-child nursing tract with neonatal emphasis. She is licensed as a neonatal nurse practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing and is board certified through the National Certification Corporation.
