Our cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons supervise the inpatient care of all cardiac patients during their hospital stay, and provide primary care for cardiac patients in the Medical/Surgical Unit. There are additional critical care physicians that help care for cardiac patients in the Critical Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

 

Our cardiologists are also available for consultations throughout the hospital, as well as for consultations with other hospitals and medical centers throughout San Diego County.
