"Boneless" Bone Grafting of Alveolar Clefts
Advances in bone biology have led to the development of proteins that come from bone, making it possible to perform a “boneless” bone graft in some patients with alveolar clefts. Without the need to harvest bone from the hip, these patients can have an easier recovery from surgery.
