Eczema

STUDY #1: Does your child have red, dry, thickened, or itching patches on his or her skin?

Your child may have eczema or atopic dermatitis. Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology is currently enrolling subjects for a clinical research study to treat this condition. This study involves using an investigational topical ointment (applied to the skin) twice daily for 28 days. This study ointment may have anti-inflammatory properties and is a non-steroidal drug.

Ages included for enrollment are: 12 to 17 years.

The study involves multiple visits, lab draws and two nine-hour visits to our clinic over a 29-day timeline.

Subjects are reimbursed for time and travel.

For more information, contact Nicola Borok, R.N., C.C.R.C., at 858-576-1700, ext. 4295 or nborok@rchsd.org.
