Rady Children's operates a Muscle Disease Clinic to coordinate outpatient care for children and adults diagnosed with neuromuscular diseases. Sponsored by the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Clinic treats patients for numerous muscle diseases.
Expert care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of health professionals from the following programs:

- Orthopedics (pediatric)
- Pulmonary (pediatric)
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Social Work
- Genetics
- Nursing
- Speech Therapy (consult)
The Clinic is held Wednesday mornings in the Specialty Clinics (Building 28) at Rady Children’s main campus.
