Fellowship

The Division offers a one-year pediatric neurosurgery fellowship. Only 22 such fellowships exist in the United States, and only 25 percent of these programs match a fellow each year. The Division’s fellowship was recertified by the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgery in 2011.

Fellowship requirements include:

• Completion of an accredited North American neurosurgery residency program
• The ability to obtain a California medical license
• Approval by the fellowship directors (Drs. Michael Levy and Hal Meltzer)
