Physical Therapy Professionals

Our Department consists of licensed Physical Therapists, licensed Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides.  The Physical Therapy staff actively participates in ongoing clinical education; many hold specialty certifications in a variety of areas, including Pediatric Certified Specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NDT & TAMO.  The majority of our staff are Physical Therapists.

A Physical Therapist has graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program with either a Bachelor's, Masters or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.  Physical Therapists are licensed by the state and have passed a national exam prior to being licensed.  Additionally, all of our staff have received training in developmental issues and are well-prepared to work with children of all ages.

A Physical Therapist Assistant has graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an Associates Degree.  They are licensed by the state after passing an exam, and work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.  Our Physical Therapy Assistants are skilled in carrying out the treatment plan established by the evaluating Therapist.  They also have additional training in developmental issues and are able to work with children of all ages.

The Physical Therapy Aide assists in carrying out treatment under direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.  They also support the department by maintaining a safe and orderly environment for patient care.
