Office of Grants and Contracts

The mission of the Rady Children's Research Center is to promote and conduct scholarly investigations which will result in the overall health of the child, directly impact the community in which we live through policy development, and improve patient treatment.

With this mission in mind, the Office of Grants and Contracts provides guidance and oversight of all post-award activities and expenditures of research grants. In addition to being the official contracting entity for all research projects conducted within the Center, this group is also responsible for ensuring compliance with grants administration policy and procedures.

Currently, the Office of Grants and Contracts administers approximately $7.2 million in research grants with a variety of sponsoring agencies.
