Alexandra Barth, Ph.D., is a pediatric psychologist who specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with acute and chronic medical conditions. She earned her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Houston. Dr. Barth completed her internship at the University of Miami’s Mailman Center for Child Development and her fellowship at the Rady Children’s Hospital/UC San Diego Eating Disorders Center.

In her current role, Dr. Barth provides psychological care to pediatric transplant patients and their families across all stages of treatment — from evaluation and pre-transplant preparation to post-transplant adjustment and long-term follow-up. She works closely with the Transplant Program to promote resilience, emotional well-being, and quality of life for children facing complex medical care.
