Dr. Art Ambrosio is a board-certified otolaryngologist at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego and has a clinical interest in a wide variety of ears, nose, and throat disorders.
Following premedical studies in Neuroscience at UCLA and studying medicine at the Uniformed Services University, he completed his Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery internship and residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Additionally, he received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
His current research interests include new applications of telemedicine, head and neck trauma management, and population-based analysis of otolaryngic disease.
Among professional activities, Dr. Ambrosio serves on the Board of Governors for the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). When not practicing medicine, he dedicates his free time to his two children.
