Dr. Colin Scher has practiced pediatric ophthalmology at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego for over 20 years.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. While completing his ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania, he was honored as the senior resident who most exemplified the ideal university resident.
Dr. Scher has received awards from the American Academy of Pediatrics and San Diego City schools for outstanding care for underprivileged and uninsured children. In addition to treating pediatric patients, Dr. Scher is a specialist in adult strabismus.
