Dr. Hyunah Ahn is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an associate clinical professor in pediatric hematology/oncology at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
After attending medical school at Indiana University, Indianapolis, she completed a pediatric residency at Bridgeport Hospital-Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut. She then practiced general pediatrics for about a year before starting a fellowship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplantation.
Dr. Ahn has a special interest in solid tumors, including osteosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, neuroblastoma, and Wilm's tumor. She teaches medical students, residents and fellows in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Ahn enjoys classical music and yoga.
