Dr. Jasmine Lai is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at the San Diego Perinatal Center, the Maternal-Fetal Division of Rady Children's Specialists of San Diego.
Dr. Lai earned her medical degree at UC San Francisco School of Medicine, completed her obstetrics-gynecology residency at UC San Diego and completed her maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center. Her clinical expertise and interests include prenatal diagnosis and procedures, obstetric complications, maternal conditions and fetal complications.
Dr. Lai is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society for Reproductive Investigation, and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). She earned the Outstanding OB Resident Award and the ACOG Gellhaus Fellowship during her residency at UC San Diego.
As a maternal-fetal specialist, Dr. Lai strives to provide evidence-based care for complicated pregnancies in an effort to optimize maternal and neonatal outcomes. Her caregiving goal is to communicate with patients and other care providers while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
A San Diego native who has lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, she is excited to return home. Outside of work she enjoys yoga/pilates, running, eating and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Lai is looking forward to providing consultation, co-management and direct care for high-risk obstetrical patients in the Southern California community.
