Dr. Premi Suresh is a child abuse pediatrician at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and associate professor of clinical pediatrics at UC San Diego.
Dr. Suresh sees children in both outpatient and inpatient settings at Rady Children?s and the burn unit at UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest, and provides primary care to youth at the Polinsky Children's Center.
She is active in teaching medical students, residents and general pediatricians, as well as in providing training and education to the multidisciplinary partners that work together in the field of child protection.
Her professional interests include the developmental effects of exposure to toxic stress and the factors that relate to resilience in children who experience adversity.
