1Install the Horizon client

  1. Open the downloaded disk image, then double-click Omnissa Horizon Client.pkg.
  2. Click Continue, then Install. Enter your Mac password when asked.
  3. When it finishes, come back to this page for step 2.

1Install the Horizon client

  1. Open the downloaded file. If Windows asks to allow changes, click Yes.
  2. Click Agree & Install, then Finish.
  3. If it asks to restart, restart your PC and come back to this page for step 2.

2Connect to Epic

Connect to Epic

Opens your web browser to sign in with your Rady Children's Health account. Whenever the browser asks to open Omnissa Horizon Client, choose Always Allow (or tick Always allow, then Open) so it stops asking. Then enter your network username and password in Horizon Client and your Epic apps appear.

Epic stays saved in Horizon Client. Next time, open the app and click the Epic tile; the browser sign-in repeats each time.

If the button does nothing or the browser asks for permission
  • Choose Always Allow or Open whenever the browser asks. It can ask after sign-in as well as at the start. With Always Allow it never asks again.
  • If nothing opens, start Omnissa Horizon Client, click New Server (the + button), and type et0637.access.epichosted.com:10343 exactly, including the port.
macOS asks to allow Accessibility, Screen Recording, or Microphone

Choose Allow or Open System Settings and turn the switch on for Omnissa Horizon Client. These let keyboard shortcuts, screen sharing, and audio work inside Epic.
