Sterile Container

Collection Instructions

Fresh frozen tissue collected in a sterile container or non-bloody body fluids collected in a sterile tube without preservative or in an EDTA (lavender-top) tube is acceptable. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue (PET) is also acceptable. However, formalin fixation dramatically reduces the sensitivity of the assays due to reduced template yield and quality.
