0.5 mL Fluid (Pleural, Peritoneal, Ascites, Pericardial or Ocular) collected in a sterile container; 1 mL Respiratory (Bronchial washing, Bronchoalveolar lavage, Nasopharyngeal aspirate or washing, Sputum, Tracheal aspirate) collected in a sterile container; Swab (Genital, Cervical, Rectal, Dermal, Ocular, Throat or Oral) collected in a Culturette (BBL Culture Swab); Fresh Tissue (Brain, Colon, Kidney, Liver, Lung etc.) collected in a sterile container containing 1-2 mL of sterile saline or multi-microbe medium (M4-RT, M4 media, or M5 media). 0.5 mL Urine (< 1 month old infant) collected in a sterile container.
