Whole blood collected in an ACD Solution B (yellow-top) tube; or CSF, Bronchial lavage/wash collected in a sterile screw-cap container; or eye swab, lesion (vesicle) aspirate/swab, nasal/nasopharyngeal swab, throat swab collected in a VCM medium (green-cap) tube or equivalent (UTM); or 3 mm tissue in a sterile screw-cap container is also acceptable.
