Neuro-Onc Family Information Day
As part of our program, patients and their family members have access to a host of resources on pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors.
One of the ways we connect families to these resources is through our annual Neuro-Onc Family Information Day for past and current patients and their families. Adult family members are invited to participate in a series of educational lectures provided by various physicians and faculty members.
Patients and their siblings can enjoy activities such as art therapy, yoga and therapeutic play. A resource fair showcases information on a variety of organizations, community groups and programs specifically for brain and spinal cord patients.
This is a day when families have the opportunity to meet each other and bond over shared experiences and similar journeys.
