Tournament Opener Features Final Four Rematch
SAN DIEGO, Calif. — August 23, 2024 –Sports San Diego announced the tipoff times and first-day matchups for the 2nd annual Rady Children’s Invitational, set for November 28-29 at UC San Diego’s LionTree Arena. Fewer than 700 tickets remain to sell out.
Each of the games will be televised on FOX or FS1. The event is produced by Sports San Diego and sponsored by Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
The second-year event includes Purdue from the Big Ten, BYU from the Big 12, NC State from the ACC and Ole Miss from the SEC. All game times listed are Pacific Time.
The first game of the tournament features a rematch of the 2024 Final Four semifinal when Purdue defeated NC State 63-50 to advance to the National Championship game against UConn.
November 28:
12:00 p.m. PT on FS1: Purdue vs. NC State
2:30 p.m. PT on FS1: BYU vs. Ole Miss
November 29:
12:30 p.m. PT on FOX: Third Place Game.
3:00 p.m. PT on FOX: Championship Game

Tickets are available for purchase at www.RadyChildrensInvitational.com; prices for a two-day pass range from $80-$140. Each day features two games. $5 from every ticket sold will go to Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
About the 2024 Rady Children’s Invitational Teams:
BYU Cougars:
The Cougars have won 27 conference championships and competed in 30 NCAA Tournaments. BYU has also won 1,786 games, ranking 12th among all Division I basketball programs.
Purdue Boilermakers:
The Boilermakers have reached the Final Four three times, including 2024. They have won 26 Big Ten titles and have made the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 an impressive 14 times, reaching the NCAA Tournament ten straight seasons. In addition, Purdue has sent 39 players to the NBA.
NC State:
The Wolfpack made their fourth Final Four in 2024. NC State won the National Championship in 1974 and 1983. In addition, they’ve appeared in 29 NCAA tournaments, and have won 1,805 games and 18 conference championships.
Ole Miss Rebels:
The Rebels have made eight trips to the NCAA tournament, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2001. They also captured the SEC Western Division five times. Ole Miss has won 1,389 games.
