Dr. Andrew Hannawi is a neurologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an an assistant clinical professor of neurosciences and pediatrics at UC San Diego.
Dr. Hannawi completed undergraduate and graduate studies at UC Riverside his earned his medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in neurology at UC San Diego and a fellowship in neurodevelopmental disorders at Rady Children's Hospital. He has an interest in autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly transitional care for adolescents and adults with these disorders, as well as hospital neurology.
Along with working in a transition clinic in neurodevelopmental disorders at Rady Children's, he practices general and hospital neurology at UC San Diego Health and has an interest in medical student education.
His research interests include autism and related disorders.
