Dr. Pugmire joined Rady Children's Hospital in 2021. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology, with a certificate of added qualification in pediatric radiology.
Dr. Pugmire received his Bachelor of Science degree and medical degree from UC San Diego. He then completed a transitional year internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital before moving to Boston where he completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and served as chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where he also served as chief fellow.
After finishing his training and prior to joining the Rady Children's, Dr. Pugmire was a partner with Wishon Radiology in the Fresno area and was on staff at Valley Children's Hospital.
