Bio

Dr. Hannah Oppenheim is a Child Neurologist and specialist in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. She is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Neurosciences at UC San Diego School of Medicine.

Dr. Oppenheim completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California Berkeley, and earned her medical degree at the University of California San Diego in San Diego, CA. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Oppenheim completed her residency training in Pediatric Neurology and fellowship training in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at the University of California San Diego in San Diego, CA.

Dr. Oppenheim’s main clinical practice encompasses neurodevelopmental disorders of infancy and early childhood, focusing on early developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, neuropsychiatry, cerebral palsy and neurogenetics. She is the director of the Angelman Syndrome Clinic.

Dr. Oppenheim is active in medical student and resident education and is active in curriculum development for disability conscious and neurodiversity affirming care. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology.
