Bio
Dr. Marie Sweat is a pediatric neurologist and neuromuscular specialist at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. She is also an assistant clinical professor of neurosciences at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Marie Sweat received her undergraduate degree from University of San Diego and her medical training at St. Louis University. She completed both her residency in pediatric neurology and fellowship in adult and pediatric neuromuscular disease at UC San Diego. She has special interest in the genetics and treatment of neuromuscular disorders, including inherited myopathies, muscular dystrophies and neuropathies.
Dr. Marie Sweat is a member of the Child Neurology Society and American Academy of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
