Dr. Stephanie Schroter is an assistant clinical professor in the UC San Diego Department of Pediatrics and works in the pediatric emergency medicine department at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego. She is the assistant EMS director for Rady Children's.
Dr. Schroter is board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. After graduating from UC Irvine School of Medicine she completed her pediatrics internship and residency at UC San Diego/Rady Children's Hospital San Diego. She went on to subspecialize in pediatric emergency medicine and completed her fellowship training at Children's Wisconsin/Medical College of Wisconsin.
Her research interests include pre-hospital pediatric care and education, as well as anaphylaxis.
She grew up in Germany and Canada but has spent most of her adult life in southern California. She returned to San Diego after fellowship to be closer to her family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, hiking, gardening, and baking.
