Dr. Suzanne Tucker is a pediatric pathologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and a clinical associate professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
After graduating from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, Dr. Tucker completed her pathology training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She went on to complete a pediatric pathology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Tucker's clinical interests are in general pediatric pathology, with a special interest in neuropathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, and solid tumor pathology. Her primary research interests are neuropathology and tumor pathology. She is the medical director of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology and the medical director of Quality for Anatomic Pathology.
Dr. Tucker enjoys teaching staff and medical students in all aspects of pediatric pathology. She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Pathology and the College of American Pathologists, where she serves on the House of Delegates for California. Dr. Tucker is also a fellow of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic, Clinical and Pediatric Pathology.
In addition to medicine, Dr. Tucker enjoys hiking, tennis and spending time with her family (she has three daughters).
