Thomas Do, M.D., M.S.

Bio

Dr. Thomas Do is an attending physician in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit and the Cardiology division at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an associate clinical professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine.

An Orange County native, Dr. Do attended UC Los Angeles as an undergraduate. He went to medical school at New York Medical College before returning to California for an internship and residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Orange County. He earned a M.S. in clinical research at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he then completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology and became chief fellow. Dr. Do enrolled in an advanced fellowship in pediatric cardiovascular intensive care at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital for the last year of his cardiology fellowship.

Dr. Do has a special interest in outcomes research for patients in the CVICU in addition to looking at markers to predict liver dysfunction in single ventricle patients post Fontan palliation.
