Plasma collected in an EDTA (lavender-top) or ACD Solution A/B (yellow-top) tube; or serum collected in a (red-top) tube; or 0.5-1 g stool collected in a sterile leak-proof container; or 0.3-0.5 mL rectal, throat, lesion or nasopharyngeal swab collected in VCM medium (green-cap) or equivalent (UTM) is also acceptable.
