Processing Instructions

Separate Platelet-Poor Plasma within 4 hours of collection and freeze immediately. Complete a UCSD Special Coag requisition and place specimen in the -80 freezer for routine courier pick-up Monday-Friday morning. If ordered STAT and if able to deliver samples before 1200 Monday-Friday, call TForce for a "Rush" pickup. For STAT requests (after 1200 Monday-Friday, weekends or holidays), call TForce for a "Rush" pickup to deliver to UCSD Jacobs Medical Center Lab on 9300 Campus Point Drive La Jolla, CA 92037; If you have any questions, contact UCSD Jacobs Medical Center Lab at (858) 657-6595.
