Timing of specimen collection: Pre-dose (trough) draw - At steady state concentration. Plasma collected in an EDTA (lavender-top), sodium heparin (green-top), lithium heparin (green-top) or sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate (gray-top) tube is also acceptable.
