Collection Instructions
ISI GI Preservative Tubes are located in the fridge. Tube must be pre-chilled prior to collection. Call lab for special tube. Patient should be fasting for 10-12 hours prior to collection. Patient should not be on any medications or supplements that may influence: Cholecystokinin (CCK), Glucose, Growth Hormone, Insulin and/or Somatostatin levels, if possible, for at least 48 hours prior to collection.
