Collection Instructions

Test must be scheduled with laboratory at National Jewish at least 3 days in advance of draw (800) 550-6227. Collect Monday or Thursday 0800-1300 only, no weekends or holidays. Whole blood collected in a lithium heparin (green-top) tube is also acceptable.

Processing Instructions

Test must be scheduled with laboratory at National Jewish at least 3 days in advance of draw (800) 550-6227. DO NOT centrifuge. Complete a National Jewish Cytokines requisition and submit with specimen room temp Monday or Thursday only, no weekends or holidays. Specimen must arrive same day within 24 hours of collection.

Insurance authorization is required prior to draw for Outpatients. Ok to send on Inpatients.
