Serum collected in a gold serum separator tube (SST) or red-top tube or Plasma collected in a sodium heparin (green-top) tube is also acceptable.

Processing Instructions

Separate serum or plasma and deliver to Chemistry. Specimens should be free of bubbles. Remove bubbles with an applicator stick before analysis. Use a new applicator stick for each specimen to prevent cross contamination.
