Specimens must be double initialed by the collecting nurse and a nurse that verifies the patient's identify against the order, specimen label and patient demographics. Specimen must not be hemolyzed. For ABOi heart transplants only to be performed at baseline, while on waiting list, and post operatively days 2-14.
