Processing Instructions
Centrifuge and separate plasma within two hours of collection. Leave RBCs in the original collection container and replace stopper. Complete a NMS Labs requisition and submit with RBC's refrigerated Monday-Friday; OK for Saturday delivery. Submit in container with a non-Heparin based anticoagulant. Tubes containing Heparin based anticoagulants are not acceptable. Complete a NMS Labs requisition and submit with specimen refrigerated.
