Processing Instructions
Centrifuge, separate serum or plasma within 20 minutes, and promptly freeze. Complete UCSD Biochemical Genetics requisition and submit with specimen frozen.
Comments
Included in Organic Acid Comprehensive, Quantitative. Quantitation of MMA excretion can be used to follow the clinical status and therapeutic response of patients with methylmalonic acidemia.
