CALL "VECTOR CONTROL" at 858-694-2888 ext. 2 to see if they will identify (ID) tick. Tell them what the physician is looking for...(ie. Lyme....) They can identify if the tick is the type which can carry lyme but they do not test the tick for the actual lyme disease. (Only a very tiny percent of San Diego ticks actually carry lyme) (no CPT, no charge)
