(One) 1.8mL or 2.7mL Blood collected in a sodium citrate (Lt blue-top tube), (One) 2-3 mL Blood collected in a lithium heparin (Lt green-top tube) (PST) ***and** (Three ) 2-3 mL Whole Blood in an EDTA (Lavender-top tube) with (One DOUBLE INITIALED FOR BLOOD BANK)

Specimen for blood bank must include double initial, patient's gender, age, and date/time of collection. Order HCG, Quantitative (LAB00985) if patient is female and 12 years of age or older.
