Dr. Daniel Hershey is a pediatric hospitalist and chair of Pharmacy and Therapeutics at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and a clinical professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego.
Dr. Hershey received his undergraduate degree in physiology with a minor in Spanish at UC Davis. He went on to complete medical school and a pediatric residency at UC San Diego.
Dr. Hershey has been recognized as a Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine by the Society of Hospital Medicine. His professional interests include medical student and resident education, medication safety, pharmacy policy, development of evidence-based clinical pathways and sedation.
