Jose Honold, M.D.

Bio

Dr. Jose Honold is an attending Neonatologist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California-San Diego.  He is the Medical Director of the CHET Team (Children’s Hospital Emergency Transport), as well as the Neuro-NICU at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego and the International Program at RCHSD as well as the Medical Director of the RCHSD NICU at Scripps Mercy Hospital, Chula Vista. 

Dr. Honold is currently a Board Member of both the California Association of Neonatologists and the Fundacion Castro-Limon Cancer Foundation.  He is President of the International Children’s Cancer Foundation and serves on the American Academy of Pediatrics and California Association of Neonatologists.  He is also the Vice President of the International Neonatology Association.
