Dr. C. Douglas Wallace directs orthopedic trauma at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and is an associate clinical professor at UC San Diego.

After completing his degree in microbiology at UC San Diego, Dr. Wallace earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan. He returned to San Diego for an orthopedic surgery residency at UC San Diego, followed by a fellowship in pediatric hand surgery at Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas and a pediatric fellowship at Rady Children's /UC San Diego.

Dr. Wallace treats hand and lower extremity conditions, as well as traumatic injuries. Committed to clinical research, he studies clubfoot, fractures and developmental dislocations of the hip. Dr. Wallace is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and is affiliated with other orthopedic professional organizations.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Wallace enjoys skiing, photography and travel.
